Cognizant Technoverse 2026 is a national hackathon exclusively for college students, designed to tackle real-world industry challenges using AI, GenAI, and modern engineering.
Pick a domain that excites you - Banking, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Utilities, and more. Round 1 focuses on submitting your idea and building an AI agent. Shortlisted participants will move to Round 2, the final round, to develop and present their MVP at Cognizant’s Pune campus.
Up to 8 teams per college, 4 members each. At least 2 female members per team required.

Shortlisted teams travel to Cognizant's Pune campus for a 24-hour live hackathon to build and demo their MVP.

Structure your submission across three dimensions. Each section is judged on business value, uniqueness, implementability, and scalability.

Define the boundary of the problem. Identify target users and stakeholders, and describe their needs and pain points the solution addresses.
High-level overview of the solution — core concepts, features, functionalities and main components.
Technologies, platforms, languages, frameworks, algorithms, libraries. Data sources and integration considerations.
Highlight unique or novel technologies, methodologies, or strategies employed.
Approximate market size backed by facts and figures from analyst reports where possible.
Quantify benefits — UX, efficiency, cost savings, scalability, social and environmental impact.
